As a new father I am unsure if this would be considered bad parenting. What do you do when you have a squirmy baby and no clean place to put him down? The only logical choice is obviously to place him in the kitchen drawer.

Brett, so you're a blogger now too, huh? That is so cool. Your boys are getting so big -- honestly can't believe they're almost one. They so dang cute; wish we could see them more often! They'll grow up not knowing their Auntie Karen. (I guess I should say Great Auntie Karen!)
