Toys

Ainge and Ian no longer like to be confined to the bouncers. They love to play with their many toys, as you can see they are very happy little boys and growing very fast.

Peek-a-boo

Ian and Ainge are enjoying playing peek-a-boo these days. On this particular day it was with the bedskirt in the office/guest room.

7 months old- Ainge and Ian decided to eat in their high chairs at the dinner table. They were enjoying the yummy taste of squash and oatmeal mixed together in the pictures below. They have also tried sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, carrots and squash and they will soon move on to some of the meat type baby foods. Ainge opens his mouth well and moves forward to bite the spoon and Ian likes to take a little longer and taste the food first, maybe play with the spoon a bit and then he will eat some of the food. They are both very happy babies unless they are tired and hungry. They love to play with their toys including the most simple things like their feet and toes. They also enjoy babbling alot.

On Christmas Eve we helped the boys open a couple of presents which was a tradition or maybe some would call it a manipulation on my part as I was growing up, what ever it was it was great to see them take a little bit of an interest in it. They especially enjoyed the wrapping paper.

Ainge opened his first very own Piggy Bank/College Fund.

Happy New Year to everyone,
The last couple of weeks have been very busy and eventful for the Anderson Family. First came the snow and ice storm during the boys and I move from Boise to Salem, OR where it took us Three days to arrive. It was very sad and difficult to pack and say goodbye to all of our family and friends in the Boise area. Because of the bad weather Brett was able to stay for a couple of weeks with us spending time with the boys and looking for our next home. The boys have adapted well and enjoy spending time with lots of friends and family here. They are developing at an astronomical rate and babbling like crazy. It was very difficult to say good bye to Daddy when he had to return to boise for work but we are looking forward to his return soon! I have now ventured into text messaging, something I had said took too much time and I did not like, I am now doing and it is great! We hope this posting finds everyone in good health in this new year of 2009. I will be working on figuring out how to post pictures and use the web cam soon!

Cheers,
The Andersons
